Student Services Administrative Assistant
Addison Central School District is seeking a full time Student Services Administrative Assistant. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and a sincere enjoyment of helping others and working as part of a team. The Student Services Administrative Assistant will provide administrative assistance to the Student Services Team as assigned. Perform receptionist duties and greet visitors as needed. As part of the administrative team, he/she operates in compliance with School Board policy, state regulations and industry best practices to carry out the district’s mission and vision.
Essential Functions:
-Provide clerical support to ensure Student Services programs run effectively.
-Maintain a high-level of confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
-Receive requisitions for student services and submit for approval/po’s.
-Administrative assistant support for ACSD Evaluation Team initial meeting scheduling.
-Lead administrative assistant for all ACSD Student Service contracts.
-Lead administrative assistant for ACSD Tier 2 and 3 referral system.
-Lead administrative assistant for special education student tracking software application to support all Special Education, 504, and Ed Support users.
-Coordinates Special Education bussing with contracted vendors.
-Tracks MOE for federal reporting.
-Provide assistance in support of Universal Preschool (UPK).
-Responsible for organizing and maintaining clerical systems for Special Education/504, including state reporting
-Responsible for providing administrative support to alternative programs (ACP/208) (middle and secondary program) via e-finance operations and ordering supplies.
-Track and coordinate alternative programs (ACP/208) (middle and secondary program) student applications.
-Receptionist duties as needed to include; answering incoming calls transferred from the automated system, greeting visitors, and sorting all incoming mail.
-Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associates degree in business or other appropriate discipline plus two to three years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Bookkeeping/accounting experience and prior school district experience and/or training preferred.
This position is a full year position. Addison Central School District offers competitive wages. Pay comensurate with experience $25-32/hour Employee benefits include:
