• Clinical Shift Schedule: 4 (12-hour shifts); variable, including day, nights and weekends
• Must be able to provide 50% night or weekend coverage with availability

Patient Information
• Patient Demographics: Majority Pediatrics, Neonatal (8 beds), 8% Adults
• Patient Volume: 17-18 per day (Majority of patients are surgical)
• Annual Surgeries: 350
• Case Mix: heart failure population, patients; on vents, who are pre & post op, with cardiac catheterization, many on ECMO, many pre-post op transplant
Facility Information
• No. of Hospital Beds: 18
• EMR System: Epic
• Support Staff Available: 2 teams, each with: 1 attending, 3 NP, 1 fellow
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental
Privileges & Compliance
• Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 days

Special Procedures
• APPs may perform IVs & arterial lines, intubation and central lines; most procedures done by fellow or attending
Skills Required
• Must be comfortable in PCICU inpatient setting
• Working with neonatals all the way up to adult populations
• Must have knowledge of general cardiovascular critical care, particularly peds
• Experience managing ECMO/CRRT/Bags

• Certifications: DEA, BLS & PALS (AHA)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of PCICU experience
• Must be experienced with pediatric cardiovascular critical care
• Covid-19 required including booster
