What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nuclear Medical Technologist position at Adirondack Health?
Position Summary:
Provide quality-imaging studies using radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed by the physicians on all-patient types, ages and medical conditions using established standards and procedures. Reviews studies for quality. Performs QC testing as required by Adirondack Medical Center Radioactive Material License.
Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine; or graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology with experience and appropriate on the job training in Nuclear Medicine. Certification Nuclear Medicine Board of Technology (CNMBT) or eligible; American Registry Radiologic Technology Nuclear Medicine (ARRT) (NM) or eligible; or American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with appropriate on the job training. Current New York State license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologists. BLS certification within the first three months of hire.
