What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part- time High School Sports Reporter position at Advance Local?

The High School Sports Reporter will work the sports desk part-time in the evenings, taking phone calls and emails from coaches to input scores. They will assist with live coverage of Friday night football and will occasionally cover games, take photos and write features for the high school sports department. Must have good communication/phone skills, good organizational skills, as well as Microsoft applications. Must be a self-starter, and available to work evenings during the high school sports seasons (fall through spring) in this temporary role.
Must be able to travel to events and meet with sources.
