What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Sales Development Representative, you play a crucial role on the team. You are responsible for outbound outreach and building relationships with prospects through education, answering questions, and sending resources. The goal is to connect with a prospect who is a decision maker, to agree to attend a sales presentation.

If you join our team as an SDR you will:
  • Identify and evaluate prospects across multiple industries for client requirements.
  • Develop trusted relationships with prospects to qualify leads.
  • Engage in efficient and effective sales outreach via multiple channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.) to contact prospects and sign them up to attend a sales presentation with one of our Regional Sales Managers.
  • Use a variety of outbound tactics (cold calling, email, LinkedIn Navigator) to build relationships with prospects and generate new lead opportunities.
  • Set up meetings and calls between prospects and Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).
  • Utilize Salesloft and keep our CRM (HubSpot and Salesforce) up to date with the most recent prospect and task information.
  • Report daily, weekly, and monthly, results to the VP of Business Development.
We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent job experience preferred.
  • 1 year experience in an outbound sales role preferred.
  • Very strong drive to be successful.
  • Comfortable making 50 cold calls per day and not bothered by the word “no”.
  • Be onsite in the Portland downtown office 3 days a week, or as needed by management
  • A passion to develop and grow a career in sales.
  • Thrive in a results-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable facing prospect rejection to achieve sales goals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across a variety of channels.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple asks concurrently.
  • A strong sense of initiative for reaching goals and sales metrics.
  • CRM experience preferred (we use HubSpot and Salesforce).
