We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team.
Job Summary:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for our Professional Employer Organization (PEO), you will play a critical role in driving new business opportunities and expanding our client base. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, building relationships, identifying prospective client sources, educating prospects about our PEO services and most importantly, supporting the BDMs to close new sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including online research, networking events, social media, and referrals. Research and implement new sources of prospective clients.
- Outreach: Conduct outreach via phone calls, emails, and social media to engage potential clients and introduce them to our PEO services.
- Consultative Selling: Understand the unique needs of each prospect and effectively communicate how our services can address their HR challenges and enhance their business success.
- Assist in preparing materials and information to support prospecting, prospect education, and ultimately contributing to the closure of New Business
- Track and measure efficacy of referral sources and programs. Maintain or exceed sourcing goals and requirements
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders within target organizations to establish trust and credibility.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, track interactions, and support follow up consistently to move leads through the sales funnel.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless transition of new clients and provide feedback on market trends and customer needs.
- Reporting: Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics to management.
-Coordination With Operations: Communicate clearly and effectively with all operations department to enhance sales efforts as well as implement of new accounts.
- Maintain knowledge of all PEO products and services and be able to effectively and accurately explain them to prospective buyers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience in sales support, business development, or a related role (experience in the PEO or HR industry is a plus).
- Demonstrated success in working closely with BDMs to provide sales materials, information, prospect training
- Supporting and measuring sales goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with prospects.
- Self-motivation, goal-orientation, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CRM software prefer Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
