Find whole-person care, dedicated teams and staff, and a wide variety of medical services, all at our hospital in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. **The role you’ll contribute:** **_The Charge Entry Specialist works closely with AHMG Administration and all AHMG practices to assist with the charge entry process._** **_Position also works to make sure that patient accounts are processed and billed with no issues._** **The value you’ll bring to the team:** · Participate in the correct capturing and entering of professional charges · Participate in collecting patient balances · Attend meetings as indicated or requested to work on charging issues · Supports/assists all practices to help resolve “front desk” related claim issues. · Work with local revenue cycle team to identify denial trends · Answer questions and provide support for providers and office staff. **Qualifications** **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:** · High School Diploma or Equivalent · At least one year of work experience in a hospital or physician practice department · Experience with PC based spreadsheets is required.
