Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for initiation, planning, coordination, execution, control, and completion of projects within the Global Technology Department, working closely with the other departmental Project Managers, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. The Project Manager will work closely with the SVP Data, Analytics and Strategy with process improvements and contribute to the maturation of the team's project management and delivery approach.

Essential Functions

  • Work closely with project sponsors, project stakeholders and other cross-functional teams to define the scope and objectives of projects and build project timelines with clear and achievable milestones.
  • Develop and manage the end-to-end project plans and monitor progress. Effectively manage scope and dependencies; identify risks and issues and proactively resolve/mitigate them with the project teams. Ensure that projects are delivered to time, budget and quality and ensure that any changes to scope are escalated and approved as required.
  • Create and maintain all project related documentation and ensure that this is published to relevant stakeholders for review/approval and that it is current.
  • Prepare project/program status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant performance information around scope, time, and budget.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, status reporting, budgeting and other assigned special projects to continuously improve departmental strategy.
  • Lead and manage team stand-ups on a weekly basis, ensuring that project activities are kept on track and all tasks progress to completed.
  • Represent projects in required project governance and inter-departmental forums.
  • Utilize appropriate project management methodologies to ensure projects maintain velocity and achieve buy-in from all stakeholders.
  • Conduct post project reviews including lessons learned and plans for improvement in subsequent projects.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year)Business Administration or similar field
  • 4-6 yearsRelated work experience
  • 4-6 years Experience managing enterprise roll-outs a plus preferred
  • 4-6 years Experience managing large-scale cross-functional projects and programs.
  • Good understanding of enterprise applications, business processes and business requirement analysis.
  • Knowledge of various Project Management methodologies; Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and Kanban
  • Proficient in Project Management tools; Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheets and M365 Applications
  • Self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multi task and identify and manage priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and change management skills
  • Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with people of varying roles and seniority
  • Understanding of application development, SDLC and data engineering technologies preferred
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI -PMP Certification preferred
