Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Limited Practice Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating real estate transactions by managing the escrow process from start to finish. This position requires a strong understanding of mortgage servicing, loan processing, and relevant regulations, ensuring that all parties involved in the transaction are informed and satisfied throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Manage the escrow process for real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review closing documents, including contracts and loan agreements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and clients to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower qualifications and ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations.
- Maintain clear communication with all parties involved in the transaction to provide updates and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Ensure timely disbursement of funds and proper handling of escrow accounts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, TILA regulations, and changes in mortgage servicing practices.
Requirements
- LPO Required
- Proven experience as an Escrow Officer.
- Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with clients, lenders, and real estate professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
