AERMOR is hiring a skilled .NET Developer to join our team to build and enhance applications that are critical to Navy operations. You will be working with various technologies to include .NET, C#, SQL, SQL Server, JavaScript, CSS, and XML in order to build and enhance applications that adhere to the Navy’s operational and security requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintenance of .NET applications using C# and other relevant technologies.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures that interact with SQL Server databases.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support application functionality.
• Implementation of user-friendly interfaces using JavaScript and CSS.
• Using XML for data interchange, integration, and configuration purposes.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications.
• Develop and document technical solutions that address operational needs.
• Integrate .NET applications with other systems and services as required.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging code, and perform troubleshooting to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Ensure applications adhere to Navy cybersecurity policies and best practices.
• Monitor application performance and identify areas for optimization.
• Implement best practices for performance tuning and scaling.
Qualifications:
• Strong applied experience and knowledge in .NET framework and C# programming.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as CSS and JavaScript.
• Skilled in XML for data interchange and configuration.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT related discipline AND at least four years of experience as described above; OR nine years of relevant experience as described above.
• CompTIA Security certification is preferred.
