Objective:
We are currently seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) . This position requires the technician to possess both technical and mechanical skills. This individual will be required to repair or overhaul large and small components while ensuring compliance to the Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the ability to read and understand maintenance manuals, shop documentation, and regulatory requirements including FAA, EASA, & AS9110 standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret standard measuring devices and be comfortable using any hand tools, tooling, fixtures, and test equipment required to complete daily tasks.
- Demonstrate the ability to complete all paperwork and tasks error free.
- Maintaining the repair station’s equipment and ensuring tools are in a serviceable working condition while assuring calibration schedules of special tools and equipment are adhered to.
- Maintaining the premises of the repair station in a clean and orderly manner.
- Ensure that the required safety equipment is used when required by the job.
Requirements:
- Meet company hiring requirements, including passing drug screen and background check.
- Preferred A&P certificate, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Be at least 18 years of age and a US citizen.
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English language.
- Ability to learn and use various software, including Quantum ERP system, internet, e-mail, and business systems, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
