To maintain this high standard, we are searching for a dedicated Warehouse Manager to lead operations at our facility in Bellingham.
The Warehouse Manager will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping activities, while ensuring that quality and efficiency goals are met. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to manage complex logistics and inventory systems.
Key Objectives
- Drive operational excellence in the warehouse, ensuring peak efficiency and customer satisfaction by organizing and managing staff, processes, and workflows.
- Establish and implement warehouse systems for product handling, storage, inventory management, equipment utilization, and shipping methods.
- Design and improve workflows, staffing strategies, equipment layouts, and space allocations to meet productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Develop, train, and motivate the warehouse team to meet and exceed short- and long-term performance targets.
- Promote a safe, compliant, and healthy workplace by adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee, monitor and optimize daily operations such as inventory management, quality assurance, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless execution.
- Schedule, direct, and manage the warehouse team to optimize productivity while controlling costs and minimizing overtime.
- Collaborate with warehouse leads to evaluate productivity metrics, identify improvement areas, and implement strategies for operational efficiency.
- Manage logistics processes, coordinating with carriers and drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience in warehouse management or a similar leadership role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication abilities, with the capacity to provide constructive feedback and collaborate across teams.
