Brief Description:
Pickup or deliver material by route under the direction of the Warehouse Manager and/or Dispatch team
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-trip & post-trip inspections on assigned vehicle, complete with photos & confirmation vehicle is safe to drive using Samsara Operations App on company phone
- Prepare related paperwork for route, including pick-ups/deliveries assigned throughout the day
- Confirm all deliveries for route & all documentation aligns & is accounted for
- Replenish inventory for multiple VMI programs via single/multi-bin design or tool crib replenishment
- When not driving, will assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
- Always maintain a safe and clean work truck and report any problems to the Warehouse Manager immediately (vehicle or otherwise).
- Follow all rules of the road, comply with DOT requirements including scaling, speed limits.
- Communicate with dispatch and/or WHM when departing/arriving at each stop; confirm with dispatch once route is completed if there are more pickups/deliveries to complete
- Immediately notify Management of an vehicle accident; complete accident report complete with photos for documentation/insurance purposes
- Perform all other duties as assigned or required
Education/Credentials:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience utilizing navigational apps (Google Maps, Waze, MapQuest, Apple Maps)
- Clean DMV record with no recent tickets or citations within the last 7 years
- NO DUI's, license suspensions, or license revocations within the last 10 years
- Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds of uneven weight
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Required to perform non-driver duties as directed through management
- Good communication skills, written/ verbal required
- Ability to calculate basic mathematical equations
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language is required
- Ability to work independently
- Basic computer skills are required
- Must wear uniform when on the clock, performing duties under AFC name (company provided)
Work Hours: 7AM to 3:30PM, Monday-Friday
