Maintenance Supervisor

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is hiring for a maintenance supervisor in Eagle Grove, IA! In this role you will be responsible for supervising the work of our maintenance staff to keep the machines, equipment and facility running efficiently. This position oversees the maintenance needs for the soy crush plant.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily activities of the maintenance crew
• Schedule and assigning work
• Plan and direct employee workflow
• Check work for accuracy and resolve work problems
• Maintain inventory by monitoring supply levels and what is needed for maintenance
• Organize materials in the maintenance department on an as needed
• Purchase needed items as directed
• Assist maintenance crew as needed
• Use our accounting and project procedures
• Develop and manage assigned projects
• Generate and review contracts, preventive maintenance records and other records to ensure all work orders have been completed
• Enforce company policies and procedures
• Attend community and company meetings

Requirements:

• Provide daily direction for maintenance personnel
• Provide maintenance planning according to manufacturer recommendation and upper AGP management
• Maintain appropriate inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and plant supplies
• Aid with project development and execution
• Operate the INFOR EAM system to maintain accurate plant asset information, develop, track, and complete work orders, develop and complete PM schedules, track and document inspections, etc.
• Provide on-call support for plan operations with a flexible schedule
• Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA regulations as they apply to plant operations
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge
• Good understanding of general industrial, electrical, and repair requirements
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Skilled in using various electrical devices, including PLC and Instrumentation applications
• Skilled in using industrial tools including but not limited to shop fabrication and machining tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player and able to work with diverse individuals and groups
• Strong safety awareness
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; Technical degree in a related field is preferred.
• Two years supervisory experience or equivalent in a mechanically related field is preferred.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
