Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and professional Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team in Buford, GA. In this role, you will provide direct care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and attention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
- Household Support: Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
- Errands and Appointments: Run errands and accompany clients to medical appointments or other outings as needed (mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate).
- Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take prescribed medications on time.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and meaningful interaction to enhance clients’ well-being.
- Observation and Reporting: Monitor clients' condition and report any changes or concerns to the care team promptly.
Pre-Employment Screenings and Consents Required:
To ensure compliance with state regulations and uphold the highest standards of care, candidates must complete and consent to the following screenings prior to employment:
- Background Check and Fingerprinting Consent: Includes verification of criminal history, employment, and education.
- Drug Screening: Compliance with our Drug-Free Workplace Policy is mandatory.
- Tuberculosis (TB) Test: Proof of a negative TB test or consent for screening provided by Agape Comfort Care Solutions.
- Pre-Employment Screening Agreement: Acknowledgment of screening processes as a condition of employment.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a PCA, CNA, or relevant experience in personal caregiving.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing quality care.
- Ability to handle physical demands of caregiving, including lifting and mobility assistance.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel within the Buford area.
- Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings listed above.
