JOB SUMMARY:
Field Operations Manager (FOM) position will be responsible for providing project leadership across the region he/she serves. The FOM will have project operations responsibility for ensuring that all projects have clear direction in project planning, organizing, and execution to deliver successful project outcomes. The FOM will serve as the direct liaison between the Director of Operations and all regional staff as it pertains to project management, implementation, and execution.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8 years' experience in Design and/or Construction Industry
- 5 years' experience managing Programs and Internal Teams
- 8 years of progressive construction project management experience as a Project Manager, which includes knowledge of all phases of design, preconstruction, construction related field activities and engineering disciplines, coordinating commissioning activities, and final turnover to the client operations team.
- 8 years of progressive construction project management experience leading major agency construction, budgets, schedules, overseeing contractor performance, and working directly with principals and owners in any of the following sectors (i.e.: K-12, Higher Education. or charter school, federal or state government, emergency services, retail, and/or multi-family construction)
- Computer skills and knowledge with the following systems: MS Office Suite, MS Windows. Experience with Procore a plus
- Strong and effective communication skills (written and oral)
- Experience with business and technical writing
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive and positive attitude
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related field (Business Administration, Construction Managment, Construction Science, Architecture, or Engineering)
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Current, valid Texas Driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record
- Certification by accrediting body within the Design and Construction Industry (PMP, CCM, AIA, and/or PE)
