We are currently seeking an Inside Salesman / Customer Service representative to join our team and play a crucial role in our company's growth.
Position Overview:
As an Inside Salesman / Customer Service representative, you will be a vital link between our customers and our manufacturing operations. This role requires a dynamic individual with a background in soft goods manufacturing or a related field. Whether you are a recent graduate or have 2 to 3 years of experience, we offer comprehensive training to help you excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops partnering relationships with customers
- Answers incoming inquiries from customers through a variety of media (email, fax, website, phone, etc.)
- Maintains awareness of customer’s credit standing and follows all company procedures regarding extending of credit and terms and conditions
- Completes the order process to insure prompt and accurate deliveries
- Makes out-calls when able to develop customer base
- Completes other duties as related or assigned
- Good attendance is an essential function of this job
- Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building report, providing technical information and explanations
- Develops accounts by checking customer buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of our manufacturing processes and products during the training period.
- Develop strong product knowledge and communicate effectively with customers and account managers.
- Assist in sales activities by identifying upselling opportunities and contributing to revenue growth.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and orders.
- Provide after-sales support and address customer concerns or issues promptly.
- Collaborate with account managers to strengthen customer relationships and contribute to business growth.
- Continuously improve product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.
Qualifications:
- A college degree in Business (will train). 2 years’ experience a plus.
