What's involved in this role:

We are looking for Seasonal Whey Operators in Luxemburg, WI.

The Seasonal Whey Operator is responsible for assisting with the activities in the Whey and or Permeate Plant as directed by the Production Supervisor/Area Production Manager.

• $20.97/hour
• $1.50 Shift Differential
• Double Time on Sundays and holidays
• 2-2-3 Rotational Schedule
  • 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

What you need to join our team:

• Ability to walk, stand, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Fill lactose bin with totes.

• Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of Bag Room.

• Operate Forklift. (Not applicable for employees under age 18.)

• Understand basic operation of Dryers and assist operators as needed.

• Assist with other general duties in Whey and/or Permeate Plant as assigned.

• Assist with Feta or powder packaging/production as directed.

• Assist Cheddar or powder packaging/production as directed.

• Effectively adhere to and maintain the plant sanitation schedule.

• Communicate concerns to the Production Supervisor/Area Production Manager in a timely fashion.

• No experience required; in house training provided
• Willingness to learn and work as a team
• Desire to grow with a stable company

• Our Luxemburg, WI, plant is home to about 170 employees. This facility produces mozzarella and provolone cheese, as well as various whey streams.
