What are the responsibilities and job description for the MPD Supervisor - Oil and Gas position at Air Drilling Associates?
Our firm is seeking an MPD Supervisor to be a significant contributor to our team. The right candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced and hands on environment and be able to communicate effectively. We are looking for someone who will perform their duties efficiently and is motivated by the opportunity to learn new skills and analyze troubleshooting processes.
Responsibilities:
- Be a team player.
- Supervise and perform installation, operation and maintenance of MPD and RCD equipment.
- Select, inspect, and calibrate equipment.
- Report equipment usage and update ERP software and maintenance records.
- Use and communicate knowledge gained in trouble shooting and field repairs of equipment.
- Assist in mentoring and training team members.
- Communicate with customer’s representative onsite.
- Participate in the Preventive Maintenance Program.
- Manage onsite inventory.
- Understand and comply with safety rules and policies.
Qualifications/Experience
- High school graduate.
- 8 year progressive experience in the MPD Operations.
- Strong problem-solving, organization and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and complete work within deadlines.
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards and other environmental standards.
