Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Engineering PLM Digital Applications Specialist to join our Engineering department based in Wichita, Kansas. This position supports end users of Digital Services and related applications and tools within the Engineering domains related to CAx, Product Data and Configuration Management and Digital Mockup. The position primarily supports end users in the Airbus Engineering Centers in Mobile, AL and Wichita, KS but may also include end user support for other Airbus sites in North America.

Located on the Wichita State University (WSU) innovation campus is Airbus’ first dedicated engineering facility outside of Europe. Our team of 200 support staff and engineers focus on aerostructure design including analysis of aircraft primary structures, such as wings and fuselages, for all major Airbus products across the globe.

Your challenges:
Provide level 2 application support for end users via knowledge articles, and extended support teams in Airbus to resolve/close incidents and requests in the ServiceNow system.
Facilitate the creation of user accounts for engineering applications, including the rights and/or roles required. Where required, coordinate these activities with Airbus colleagues outside North America.
Work to ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLA), project deliverable expectations, and other performance indicators are met or exceeded or that mitigations have been identified,.Coordinate with Mobile, Wichita and the Mobile Manufacturing Site team leads to schedule outages of engineering applications.
Provide advanced notice for planned outages to affected end users and their management.
Monitor & report performance against end user expectations as agreed in SLAs.
Identify and initiate corrective actions to improve performance on SLAs.
Work with the Digital Engineering team to standardize support processes, procedures and escalation services across Airbus North America divisions.
Participate in periodic reviews of operational performance with Digital and engineering leadership.
Deliver occasional classroom training on Product Lifecycle Management applications using Airbus-developed training materials.
Your boarding pass:
Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Information Technology or additional relevant experience.
3 years' experience in Engineering Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) support, training and new application deployments, preferably in an aerospace product design environment,
Knowledge of PLM applications such as CATIA, Enovia.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Authorization to Work in the US is required.
