Responsibilities: - Assists the government with configuration control for ERP and IT systems to include configuration planning, data analysis, maintaining configuring documentation and data, and maintaining inventory/configuration status; conduct the identification, tracking, reporting, and change management of all software and hardware documentation of GOTS and COTS configuration items through all phases of the life cycle. - Performs and monitors the initiation, build, verification, and release activities associated development, test, and production environments using Serena Business Manager (SBM)/ BMC Remedy; utilizes HP Application Lifestyle Management (HP ALM) to track all defects and enhancements to software and report changes to leadership if necessary. - Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software, licenses, media, and other IT assets; tracks and reports all production hardware and software assets that support operations in the CMSMB (CMDB). - Participates as an active member in an Integrated Product Team (IPT); works closely with project managers (PMs), quality managers, system engineers, developers, etc. to provide CM support. - Serves as a CM authority providing oversight and managing all code repositories/libraries to ensure best practice software development lifecycle methodologies are adhered to; maintains CM library. - Ensures conformance of delivered software and hardware configuration items (CIs) to statement of work, contract data requirements list, program CM plans, procedures and contractual requirements associated with the CM process. - Conducts software physical configuration audits (PCAs) and software functional configuration audits (FCAs); participates in audit planning; evaluates established configuration management metrics for the purpose of reporting milestones throughout the software development lifecycle. - Reviews processes and procedures with operation managers to identify areas of improvement; develops reporting requirements/specifications on continuous process improvement to management. - Leads initiatives to increase workload management and productivity in Remedy; instrumental in restructuring the DSL to enhance audit efficiency. - Assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining configuration management processes, policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other documents; perform and participate in Quality Assurance process audits of all Request for Change (RFCs), Release Records (RRs), and Software Change Requests (SCRs); supports configuration management planning. - Conducts onboard training as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: - The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. - Associates Degree or higher. - 2 years of experience in configuration management responsibilities. - DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or ability to acquire one within 6 months.
