Job Title – Oracle Cloud Application Administrator (DOE) *Remote Work Akima Infrastructure Services, LLC (AIS), is actively seeking individuals who can contribute to national security within the project management and business services fields as part of our staff augmentation team supporting the Department of Energy at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL). AIS has an established history of contributing to the success of our customer’s mission. Successful candidates will be employees of AIS, a premier government contractor charged with employing highly motivated and well-qualified personnel who can advance the missions of the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory located in Princeton, NJ. Though employed by AIS, the employee will take day-to-day direction from technical personnel employed directly by the research laboratory. Pay, benefits, Human Resource, and Employment Management functions are provided by AIS. Qualified applicants must be a US citizen, at least 18 years of age, and able to meet pre-employment requirements including any required physicals, drug screen, and/or background investigation to satisfy clearance requirements from the Department of Energy. A remote work option up to 90% is available and has been authorized by the PPPL Technical Administrator for this position with approximately 10% of the assigned work requiring occasional trips to Laboratory as necessary. Job duration is projected to be a 6 - 12 month period of performance. Essential Duties: AIS is seeking an Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP and EPM Application Administrator to work on the implementation and operation in the Information Technology Department of the application development (AppDev) team. The successful candidate will be the key lead for performing Oracle product administration and support. The successful candidate will have broad responsibilities across daily support, database maintenance, quarterly upgrades, user management, security roles, and compliance. This position will be the primary technical expert working with the external implementation team and internal functional team on Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems implementation and support. The ideal candidate will be working closely with customer departments and responsible for resolving and engaging end-users in troubleshooting issues. Strong verbal and written communication are required. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: • 30% - Maintaining and administering the PPPL Oracle ERP/EPM Cloud environment • 40% - Provide functional and technical support, incident management, instance administration, release management, upgrade support, and testing • 10% - Provide trainings and documentations for function admins • 10% - Oversee the managed service provider, function as the central point of contact for all issues related to Oracle ERP Cloud • 10% - Backup support for other applications within AppDev Team Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information system, or related fields Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM administration, and support experience. • 5 years of related business and/or IT experience • 3 years Oracle ERP Cloud Administration experience • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Oracle databases in a production or non-production environment • Minimum one hands on experience on a full cycle Oracle Cloud Fusion implementation experience • Experience with the Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft Security architecture and hands on experience in updating and implementing user security with Oracle Cloud Security • Hands on experience with assisting quarterly Oracle upgrades including testing and UAT • Experience with day-to-day production support and system performance monitoring • Experience with documentation maintenance for Cloud ERP Application configurations, technical objects, and procedures Required Qualifications: • Experience with Government Subcontractors, DOE laboratories and/or higher education • Experience with Windows 2016 • Experience with shell scripting in a Unix/Linux environment • Experience with Oracle 11g & 12c databases • Experience with supporting database cloning process, migrating packages across development lifecycle environments • Experience with managing Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle Cloud operations to coordinate and complete any Administration tasks • 3 years’ experience with supporting system development, integration and testing of ERP applications • Effective organizational, communication, and presentation skills • Effective time management skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks and set priorities • Excellent technical problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and in a team-oriented manner Preferred Certificates and Licenses: • Specialist Certification in one or more FMW components like Oracle WebLogic Server, SOA, and IDM Physical Requirements: • Occasional lifting of IT equipment less than 20lbs such as a desktop tower computer or computer monitor may be required Special Requirements: • Pre-employment Drug Screen - External applicants selected for this position are required to successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug test. • Medical Exam(s) - Job related pre-placement medical examinations may be required for this position. • This position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance from the Department of Energy. If determined as such, this position would be identified as a Workplace Substance Abuse (WSAP) testing designated position. WSAP positions require participation in an ongoing random drug testing program in addition to the pre-employment drug screen.
