Job Responsibilities: - Applies technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions. - Performs such tasks as replacing components and wiring circuits; repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. - Receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is spot-checked for accuracy. - Operate various training systems to instruct Soldiers in the use of weapons systems, such as the EST2000 (Engagement Systems Trainer) Call For Fire Trainer, Improvised Explosive Device Trainer, Rollover Trainers, Artillery Simulators, Nomadic Gun Simulators etc. - This specific job will require you to issue/Instruct on use of Military Equipment and to also be able to maintain the equipment making sure it is ready to issue to all current customers. You will have to input usage reports into an army-based portal additionally adding the equipment into maintenance status when needing too. - Prepares and assists on shipping Government freight to include small package express shipments. Also, Prepare Transportation Documents, Inspects in-bound shipments from notification of consignee for possibility of improper handling by commercial carrier. - Additionally, you will be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
