What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll bring your expertise in supply chain management, procurement strategies, and vendor relations to tackle exciting challenges like developing and implementing purchasing strategies, managing vendor performance, and optimizing inventory levels. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company goals.
- Analyze market trends and vendor performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Manage inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure budget compliance and accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure quality and service standards are met.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., production, sales, logistics) to understand their purchasing needs.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and prepare reports for senior management.
You’re A Great Fit If:
Your experience includes:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role (typically 5 years).
