What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Associate position at Aleron?
Here's what you'd do:
- Handle outgoing and incoming member phone calls, conduct loan interviews, assess member needs, and cross-sell other client products and services to provide fast, friendly, and effective service to members.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards all members to increase satisfaction.
- Assists members in completing an online application via the client's website
- Knows features, advantages, and benefits of some client products and services and recommends appropriate products or services to enhance member relationships.
- Maintains a high level and current knowledge of client lending and deposit account promotions, criteria, guidelines, procedures, policies, and processes.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.
- Consistently demonstrates a courteous, discreet, and professional approach in dealing with members and internal customers by established customer service standards.
- Demonstrates concern and respect for others in all interactions and inspires their confidence and trust.
- Demonstrates effective face-to-face communications and telephone interactions by established customer service standards.
- Articulates ideas, including written communications, clearly and concisely.
- Modifies personal style or approach to adjust to changing environments and respond quickly to new situations.
- Gives fair consideration to new points of view and reorganizes project/work to accommodate urgent tasks quickly.
- Proposes enhancements to work methods or procedures to improve process efficiency or the quality of results.
- Assist from time to time with the scheduling of loan closings.
- Close the member's consumer loan when business volumes are needed.
- Requiring minimal direct supervision to maximize individual productivity and efficiency and attain member satisfaction.
- Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Telephone sales/customer service
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
