We offer

What You’ll Do: Provides clinical psychology services, collaborating with psychiatrists and treatment review team in diagnosis and treatment planning by performing the following duties:

• Interprets clinical information and evaluation results to pertinent team members and caregivers.
• Completes psychological evaluations within 45 days, or in accordance with MCO contract when applicable.
• In interactions with internal/external customers, clinician demonstrates understanding of systems.
• theory, cultural diversity, self-determination and self-awareness issues.
• Provides regular and consistent therapy to clients and families.
• Service plans reflect thorough discharge planning from point of admission through discharge.
• Performs restrictive intervention orders (if within the psychologist’s scope of practice)
• Follows restraint/seclusion policies for response and documentation during on-call duties.
• Oversees service planning that is individualized, current, and addresses applicable problems.
• Other relevant paperwork such as discharge notes and progress notes are complete and timely.
• Applies knowledge of child growth and development, child psychopathology and evidence-based practice.
  
  

Education And/or Experience

• Master's degree or doctorate in psychology.
• NC licensure as a practicing psychologist or psychological associate.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
