Starting pay $13 - $17 depending on experience. AAB rewards hard work and loyalty, with pay raises increasing the longer you stay with us!

What we’re looking for:

• *VALID DRIVER LICENSE*
• Good driving record
• Open or flexible availability for scheduling (shifts are regularly 8 to 12 hours long)
• Overtime and night work may be available and required
• Flexibility with last-minute schedule changes
• Efficient in planning, organizing and safety
• Knowledgeable of the current local temporary traffic control standards
• ATSSA Advanced TCS Certification (HIGHLY preferred)
• 1-2 years of Traffic Control Experience (preferred)
• **NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**

What the job consists of:

• Create a safe work zone that ensures that traffic stays out of the way of the workers
• Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day
• Setting up signs, water-filled barricades, etc. on job site per guidelines
• Must be constantly aware of the job site, crew and traffic activity taking place around them
• Respectfully communicate problems or concerns to coworkers, supervisors, or crew
• Available for Special Events on weekends, throughout the year and holidays if needed
• Respond to Dispatch Center calls in a timely manner for availability
• Check inventory and inspect equipment needed for job prior to job and after job is complete
• Occasionally travel outside of the branch location if needed
• Completing required paperwork, receipts, and time-sheets before deadlines

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

• Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time in outdoor temperatures
• Perform full deep squat
• Ability to lift 20 - 50 pounds
• Full range of motion of arms and legs
• Bending at the elbows, knees, hip and bending forward
• Requires using hands to handle, control or lift objects with a strong grip
• Requires stepping at least 33 inches onto tailgate of a truck
• Requires being outside and exposed to environmental conditions
• Physical ability to move traffic control equipment
