Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health

SHIFT: Full-time * Days and Nights Available (Rotating Weekends)

This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly regarded hospital recognized for over a century of service in behavioral health, offering a full range of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care, including administering prescribed medications, changing dressings, cleaning wounds, and monitoring vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions using computerized documentation systems.
• Coordinate patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated treatment plans.
• Support discharge planning in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse license required.
• Education: Diploma in Nursing (RN Diploma).
• Certifications:
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (within 30 days of hire).
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification (within 60 days of hire).
• Open to candidates with long-term acute care (LTAC) experience interested in transitioning to behavioral health.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay: $31.55 - $45.07 (based on experience).
• Shift Differentials:
• $6/hour for weekday nights.
• $7/hour for weekend nights.
• $5/hour for weekend days.
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000.
• Relocation Assistance: $1,500.
