The Staff Accountant plays a crucial role in our business and is an essential member of our corporate operations. The Staff Accountant owns multiple process cycles and is expected to be a subject matter expert in assigned responsibilities. All members of the corporate operations team are expected to be solution-oriented, deploying professionalism and appropriate communication with coworkers, customers, and vendors alike. As a professional in the field of accounting, the Staff Accountant is familiar with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Specific Areas of Responsibility :
- Processing payroll
- Processing customer invoicing
- Processing vendor bills
- Administering corporate card spend and compliance
- Maintaining function-specific inboxes (e.g. Payroll, AR)
- Preparing journal entries and GL reconciliations as part of accounting close
- Assisting with various reporting as required
