What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist for Pediatric Office - Temp position at All-Star Pediatrics?
All-Star Pediatrics is looking for a full-time front office receptionist with experience that enjoys working with people and has a nice phone voice. This will be for 8-12 weeks, as one of our staff members will be out on maternity leave.
This position includes responsibilities such as:
- answering phones
- returning messages to patients
- some appointment verification
- checking patients in or out of the office
- scheduling appointments
- collecting copays and setting up payment plans
- maintaining the tidiness of the front office and waiting room
Requirements include:
- friendly interactions with patients and families
- previous electronic health record experience
- previous experience handling copays and doing insurance verification
- decent typing skills ("hunt-and-peck" doesn't count)
- at least 1 year in a medical front office (you MUST have this)
