Job Description:

Our PCA’s and HHA’s are responsible for assisting residents with support in safety and comfort by providing Personal Care services to individuals residing in their homes.

WE ARE LOOKING TO PLACE PCA'S IMMEDIATELY IN WILLIAMSVILLE, BUFFALO AND TONAWANDA.

Duties includes personal care tasks: bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, hair care, nail care, and shaving; assisting and encouraging Activities of Daily Living: eating, personal hygiene, medication reminders, support with medical appointments, as well as light housekeeping & laundry.

What we are looking for in our PCA’s / HHA’s:

• Positive, dependable, and mature team player with ability to work with a wide variety of providers & supportive services.
• Ability to effectively communicate all updates and changes in condition.
• Ability to accurately observe and report to Supervisor in timely manner.
• A self-starter with strong prioritization and time management skills.
• Document all tasks in resident's record daily and on time.
• Ability to maintain in-service education hours as per NYS Department of Health.
• Ability to maintain strong work attendance.
• Possess attention to detail, presentation, and sensitivity to the needs of residents.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of a NYS Department of Health approved PCA training program with certificate.
• Reliable personal transportation is required.
• Pass all background checks including medical screening.

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
