The Practice Manager is responsible for the overall operations, development and success of the practice and acts as the ambassador to patients, the general public, Physicians and staff. The Practice Manager understands customer needs and provides a high level of service, seeking to improve customer satisfaction levels in all aspects of the practice.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Education And Experience
Physical Demands: Anticipate lifting 20-25 pounds in any given day. Tasks and expectations may vary by clinical site and medical practice. Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner. May be exposed to acutely ill patients, communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, and airborne allergens used during skin testing and immunotherapy.
Work Environment
Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor clinic office setting with adequate ventilation; Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic) Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with regular working hours; travel to other clinics or administration office will be required.

Position Summary
The Practice Manager is responsible for the overall operations, development and success of the practice and acts as the ambassador to patients, the general public, Physicians and staff. The Practice Manager understands customer needs and provides a high level of service, seeking to improve customer satisfaction levels in all aspects of the practice.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage all clinic staff
- Coordinate and supervise the day to day activities of clinic staff in conjunction with the Nurse Coordinator ensuring the office is staffed appropriately
- Ensure office is opened and closed daily, as per established schedules
- Prepares and coordinates Physician/ Extender schedules
- Interview, hire and train new staff in accordance with HR guidelines
- Manage daily staffing to ensure optimal operation of the practice
- Regularly review productivity and make staffing adjustments as needed
- Monitor and approve time cards and track licensure requirements for staff
- Conduct regular staff meetings and annual performance evaluations for the Clerical and Management team
- Review accounts receivable reports monthly (Including budgets and payroll)
- Review daily audits, sign off on them daily and fax the completed audit to the CBO.
- Oversee the patient portion of the accounts receivable.
- Monitor inventory and place orders for resupply
- Ensure practice is complying with industry standards
- Responsible for all aspects of office maintenance in coordination with building management
- Interacting with patients and addressing any concerns or complaints
- Ensuring Physician satisfaction on a daily basis.
- Promote teamwork to ensure the practice runs effectively and meets objectives
- Recommend disciplinary action as needed in collaboration with Human Resources.
- Ensure clinical and clerical policies and procedures are carried out on a daily basis.
- Identify and recommend policies and procedures as needed to ensure quality, compliance, accuracy and cost efficiency.
- Identify strategy for growth and executive plan to grow in collaboration with Business development team
- Attendance is required for all In-Service trainings
- Travel to other clinics, within reasonable distance, will be required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education And Experience
- Degree in business management or related field
- Management experience, preferably in a medical office
- Familiar with EMR system
- Solid understanding of finance management and basic understanding of revenue cycle
- Leadership qualities with good communication skills
- Problem Solving – Ability to identify a problem and find solutions effectively
