Alliance Solutions Group has partnered with our food manufacturing client in Medina, Ohio for their 3rd Shift DIRECT-HIRE Quality Assurance Technician opening.

Pay: $18 to $22 per hour with overtime, plus $1.00 shift differential

Hours: 10:00 pm - 6:30 am

Quality Assurance Technician Overview:

This position provides monitoring and guidance for food regulatory, food safety and quality assurance initiatives while reinforcing the company values, this is achieved by laboratory testing, documentation, visual inspection and process reinforcement.

The responsibilities of this position are to assist the Quality Department ensuring compliance to all food safety and quality standards.

Laboratory and raw material testing of finished products, organoleptic testing, process control audits, analytical testing – titratable acidity, pH and moisture evaluations.

Visual inspection/observation of smell, taste, touch, color discern.

Ability to perform basic laboratory testing utilizing reagents and chemicals while wearing the necessary and applicable personal protective equipment or dress.

Periodic interaction with the on-site inspectors.

Review for accuracy and completeness daily documents generated during the production processes and procedures.

Provide food safety and quality assurance guidance and support for all external multi-functional departments.
