The Financial Planner will be responsible for developing personalized financial plans that align with our clients' goals, financial situation, and risk tolerance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial markets, tax strategies, and retirement planning, along with exceptional client relationship management skills. You will work closely with our accounting and tax teams to offer integrated financial services to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their financial needs, objectives, and life goals.
- Advise clients on strategies for retirement planning, tax optimization, estate planning, risk management, and insurance needs.
- Evaluate and recommend investment strategies aligned with clients' risk tolerance and financial objectives.
- Monitor clients’ investment portfolios, providing timely updates and adjusting plans to maximize performance.
- Work closely with the accounting, tax, and audit teams to ensure financial plans are fully integrated with tax strategies, estate planning, and overall business objectives.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing financial advice and guidance.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.
- Analyze financial data, assess investment options, and create customized financial plans.
- Maintain required licenses and certifications, and adhere to ethical standards of the financial planning profession.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or financial advisory services, preferably within an accounting or financial services firm.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, retirement planning, tax optimization, estate planning, and insurance products.
- Proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with portfolio management platforms, CRMs, and other financial analysis tools.
- Current Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or equivalent designation is required.
