Manufacturing/ Paint Line Technician
$18 / hour!

The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following:
- Load and unload castings on the paint line.
- Hang parts in accordance with proper methods/work instructions.
- Inspects raw castings for defects before powder is applied.
- Visually check parts for defects/craftsmanship
- Identifies defects in material and paint such as light coverage, insufficient coating, etc.
- Position completed product on skids and/or in containers per customer specifications.
- Assemble castings per work instructions.
- Cleans hopper, gun, and booths as necessary.
- Maintains cleanliness of booth, spray gun, hoppers and surrounding areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Individuals will act as paint relief support for breaks and lunch.
- Wears protective PPE, follows all PPE requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a job shop environment is preferred, but not required.
- Position requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
- A strong work ethic with a solid attendance history
- Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
Physical Demands:
- Employee required to stand; use hands to handle, feel and reach with arms.
- The employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
