Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target industries or companies that benefit from machine enclosures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with machine manufacturers to explore partnership opportunities.
- Conduct site visits and consultations to assess customer needs and recommend tailored enclosure solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deliver customized enclosures.
- Develop and execute strategies for market expansion and account growth.
- Present detailed proposals, including specifications, pricing, and timelines, to clients.
- Educate customers and partners on the benefits of enclosures, such as safety, efficiency, and compliance.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to adapt sales strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 7-10 years in industrial machinery sales, technical product sales, or a closely related field.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in machinery such as CMM machines, robotic automation systems, packaging and processing equipment, injection molding machines, and laser machines. Knowledge of common enclosure features, including Safety and compliance with industry standards (OSHA, ANSI, ISO), Environmental controls (e.g., dust, soundproofing, thermal management), customization options for specific machine applications.
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record of selling to industries that rely on heavy or precision machinery. Ability to identify additional revenue streams and develop solutions to meet customer challenges in operational efficiency, compliance, and safety.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with engineers, purchasing teams, and executives. Skilled at collaborating with machine manufacturers to integrate enclosure solutions into their product lines.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to navigate a competitive landscape and leverage strengths such as quick installation, cost savings, customization, and flexibility.
