Key ResponsibilitiesSanitation Supervision
- Oversee the sanitation operations for the Caseyville facility.
- Ensure the facility meets all USDA and internal cleanliness standards.
- Train and ensure all Sanitation Team Members follow chemical handling and food safety procedures.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records, including timekeeping, scheduling, and supply inventory management.
- Handle personnel administration tasks, including disciplinary actions.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement in cost efficiency and sanitation quality.
- Participate as a member of the plant management team to enhance overall plant operations.
Team Leadership
- Supervise a team of 50 hourly employees and multiple supervisors.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among team members.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in sanitation within a food manufacturing environment, managing direct reports.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sanitation, Food Safety, or Quality Assurance preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Supervisory Skills: Proven experience leading large teams of 50 employees.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in email, data entry, and document templates.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of supervisory experience in sanitation within a food manufacturing facility.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
