We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a team of engineers and designers in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. This role requires a strong background in project management, with an emphasis on effective project controls and minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management:
- Oversee project costs in collaboration with Engineering Resource Leaders, accurately estimating and managing man-hours to achieve project goals.
- Manage commercial contracts, ensuring timely invoicing, processing of Project Change Notices, and adherence to project plans.
- Track and manage budget, schedule, and quality commitments, leveraging project tools for efficient control and reporting.
- Client and Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate scope and design changes, fostering a positive change management environment.
- Maintain client relationships to ensure successful project closeouts and potential future service opportunities.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and coordinate project resources, conduct weekly team meetings, and ensure adherence to project processes.
- Build a cohesive project team, promoting collaboration and accountability across all roles.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Review engineering documents to ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
- Manage client documentation requirements and provide support throughout the construction phase.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering (preferred).
- Certifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Experience:
- 15 years in engineering and project management, with proven expertise in project execution and engineering standards.
- Skills:
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
