What are the responsibilities and job description for the On-Air Talent/Board Operator (Part Time) position at Alpha Media?
Interested in Radio? Alpha Media has a part-time On-Air Talent/Board Operator position available in our Lincoln, NE market. This is an entry level position so we will train. Duties include on-air work, writing news, and recording ad copy. In other words, all aspects of local broadcasting. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to break into broadcasting!
Requirements of this position include the following:
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and complete assignments autonomously.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing culture and environment.
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills to connect with fans over the air and on social media.
Although this is an entry-level position, preference may be given to candidates who have experience working with Google Suite, WordPress, Facebook, and Twitter.
