Job Overview

Under the direct care supervision of a Physician, Registered Nurse or LVN Supervisor, the Medical Assistant, Regional Float Pool provides patient care support to various ambulatory clinics within their regulatory scope of practice. As a regional float, assignment locations will vary depending on business need and may be within either Los Angeles or Orange County. Assignments will vary in length and can range from a few weeks to a few months depending on the reason for supplemental coverage.

Minimum Requirements

1. High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
2. Medical Assistant diploma, required.
3. Current valid BLS/First Aid training.
4. A minimum of 3 years’ back office experience, preferred.
5. Experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Woman’s Health and Urgent Care, Preferred.
6. Bilingual: (English/Spanish) preferred.
