HOW YOU'LL WORK:
You’ll work closely and collaboratively with the Regional Director, Quality to ensure the success, accountability and leadership for the Quality department functions of the assigned regional agencies, including QAPI clinical and operational functions. You will oversee the daily operations of the Quest teams by providing the support, leadership, creation and implementation of evidence-based policies, processes and initiatives within the assigned teams.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Improvement: Manages progress toward strategic quality goals, readily identifies opportunity trends and works with Regional Director of Quality to facilitate rapid cycle improvement to correct course. Strives for evidence-based clinical service delivery and the achievement of best practice process workflows; quality targets; financial KPI’s & top decile patient experience.
Problem Solving: Applies effective change management skill in performance improvement initiatives and demonstrates a thorough knowledge of our ASHN Quality Model, MDI methodology and accountability reporting cadence. Supports regional teams in addressing barriers to high quality care delivery.
Leadership: Combine strong leadership, coaching and supervision to QUEST Team to meet department objectives. Provide effective communication to collaborate with managers, staff, network agency leadership, and Corporate leadership.
HARD & SOFT SKILLS:
Must possess an understanding of the quality indicators included in Star Rating, Hospital Admissions, HHVBP, and HHCAHPS. Knowledge of Hospice CAHPS preferred.
Extensive knowledge of Home Care support services
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and all State/Federal guidelines for compliance of patient clinical care
Able to create positive impressions and communicate effectively with a variety of people and personalities
Is an active listener and demonstrates ability to lead a team.
Ability to set up work systems and engage in flexible problem-solving behavior
Observant and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word and the ability to learn new systems and the ability to train/orient staff during implementation of software
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or business field, or equivalent experience required; Registered Nurse with a current license in the State of Ohio preferred
Minimum of 3 years Management experience
Capable of all physical demands
