We are seeking a Scale Operator who is a highly motivated and organized self-starter to coordinate the logistics of a busy port terminal. This is an opportunity for the right person to demonstrate their CUSTOMER SERVICE and ORGANIZATIONAL skills.

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 8 hour shifts

Compensation: Starting at $16/hr. depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers including truck drivers.
• Retrieve security logs, BOL's and scale tickets.
• Input BOLs and scale tickets into system and distribute transaction reports to customers.
• Responsible for daily and monthly reporting
• Coordinate with warehouse operations staff concerning planned loading schedule as needed.
• Maintain appropriate records and filing system, and ensure accuracy of data entered in computer records.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year customer service experience.
• Experience with marine terminal operations a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
