Description
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Receive and handle calls/inquiries relating to power outages, trouble, and property damage
- Utilize communication equipment to relay information
- Temporary 12 month position
Hours
Full-time, M-F 7:30-4:30, weekends and evenings when necessary.
Location
Hilo, Big Island
Pay
$20 an hour
Responsibilities
- Obtain and relay important information
- Performs timekeeping, typing, filing, logging, data entry and other clerical work
- Provide clear directions and explanations to the field personnel, customers & contractors
Qualifications
- Minimum two or more years of call center customer service experience and/or equivalent training
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have internet access and excellent computer skills.
- Familiarity with data base maintenance
- Previous experience in fast paced work environment
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to diffuse emotions and handle irate customers
- Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM
- Ability to pass pre-employment state and federal background check and drug test.
