Position Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Audio and Visual Technician to manage the setup, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for audiovisual technology, and a commitment to delivering top-notch service to our clients.

Responsibilities :

Perform on-site audiovisual equipment installation for our clients, including low voltage wiring, trim-out, equipment rack setup, plasma / LCD, projectors and projection systems, media rooms, audio hardware and speakers, control systems, and some programming based on experience.
Set-up and assist with Video Teleconferences (VTC).
Install, configure, and troubleshoot large scale Audio, Video, and USB systems (Creston, Extron, Thinklogical).
Perform system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and upgrades of servers to support an operational network architecture.
Perform product and component management to ensure technical viability and cost-effectiveness.
Video editing of streamed events.
Evaluate product usability, affordability, functionality, security, and performance to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments.
Plan and coordinate complex network software and hardware for enterprise release.
Ensure systems conform to architectural objectives.
Evaluate complex system production readiness and supportability.
Perform complex system problem identification and resolution.
Identify, evaluate, and document computing system requirements, design, build, and test delivery systems and components.
Provide technical support and consultation for implementation and usage of delivery systems.

Requirements :

5 years of experience in Audio-Visual systems.

Any industry certifications, such as CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, BICSI- Preferably hold CompTIA A , Network , and Security certifications.

Experience conducting requirements gathering, design, installation, programming, maintenance, and equipment replacement support throughout the full lifecycle of the meeting and collaboration spaces.

Familiarity with Cisco / Polycom IP VTC systems endpoints, AMX, Extron, Crestron, and Cisco control systems and switches.

Experience providing support for live, on-site, and hybrid meetings using Cisco Webex, Zoom and MS Teams collaboration platforms, endpoints, and soft-clients.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
