What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager of Sales Recycled Plastic Certification position at AM Testing & Services, Inc?
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related scientific of chemistry, biology, environmental science, or related area or specific experience
- 3 years Industry experience in Plastic, Recycling or Circular Economy
- 2 years’ experience in account management and business development with direct customer contact
- Develop relationships with individuals in the world of Recycled Plastics
- Maintain and strengthen business relationships with current customers while increasing sales
- Successful in selling our companies Plastic Recycle Certification Program to new customers in North America as well as around the world
- Participate in Conducting 3rd party audits on site or remotely according to the Programs Requirements or other applicable industry standards
- Able to be a self-starter and work independently or on a team
- Apply professional judgment on the quality of audit reports to ensure program compliance
- Be proficient with applicable regulations, standards and policies
- Excellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail when reviewing laws, requirements, contracts, quotations and reports
- Ability to travel to visit Customer, Plants, Tradeshows or when needed
Skills for Success:
- Preferred experience in Sales, Account Management, Plastics, Recycling, Product Inventory, Compliance and or auditing
- Gifted communicator with customers and finding ways to win the customer’s trust and business
- Understanding and experience with ISO, ASTM, APR, Recy-Class Standards
- Highly organized and capable of delivering within tight deadlines of a competitive industry
- Strong proficiency in business computer software, e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point and Various CRM programs
- Excellent technical writing, observation, and data management skills
- Experience with various third-party certification programs
- Strong Customer Service Skills

Pay: $21.38 - $22.69 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
