What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Amazon?

Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects/program. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program. May require a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Team:
-Design Sales Incentive team within Amazon Web Services that helps their partner sell their product
-Team is experiencing high influx in growth
-Collaborative team that all do similar work
-Team can be pretty intensive since accuracy is important for Seller Pay
-Medium size team of about 8
Typical Day in the Role
-211 partners in the program and going public in 2025 and expanding their partners by about 600%
-Onboarding all these partners into the incentive
-Working through the backlog of onboarding about 1100 partners
-Working closely with the strategist to define and refine the onboarding process
-Tracking eligibility requirements
-Running a compliance campaign
-Addressing revenue issues that might affect payment accuracy
-Making sure partners have money in their accounts
-Onboarding about 200 partners a month
Requirements:
-PM experience, 2 years
-Extremely high attention to detail
-Extremely organized
Plus: tech background, understanding of how sales incentives and sales software works
Contract Length: 6 Months
Location: Seattle (Onsite)
Pay Range: $38 - $42 per hour
