Electrical Inspector

Job Description

• Implement and interpret quality assurance standards.
• Evaluate the adequacy of quality assurance systems and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Plan and conduct testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
• Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
• Collect and compile statistical quality data for analysis and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and monitor corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings.
• Prepare and communicate reports on quality activities and outcomes.
• Conduct training interventions to meet quality standards and support external audits.
• Monitor risk management activities and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, current sources, variable power supplies, and perform high potential testing.
• Understand and work with AC/DC circuits up to 480V three-phase.
• Interpret schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Prepare setups for customer witness testing.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team in an engineer-to-order environment.
• Troubleshoot larger-scale systems as needed.

Qualifications

• Electromechanical Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
• Certifications in Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, or Six Sigma are an advantage.
• Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing.
• Familiarity with corrective action programs.
• Product or industry-specific experience is preferred.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and databases.
• Knowledge of quality assurance tools, concepts, and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting, particularly point-to-point testing.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Electrical inspection: 5 years (Preferred)
• PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting: 3 years (Preferred)
• electrical: 3 years (Preferred)
• electromechanical: 3 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Fairfield, OH 45014: Relocate before starting work (Required)
