Job Description
- Implement and interpret quality assurance standards.
- Evaluate the adequacy of quality assurance systems and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Plan and conduct testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
- Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
- Collect and compile statistical quality data for analysis and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and monitor corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings.
- Prepare and communicate reports on quality activities and outcomes.
- Conduct training interventions to meet quality standards and support external audits.
- Monitor risk management activities and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Use test equipment such as multimeters, current sources, variable power supplies, and perform high potential testing.
- Understand and work with AC/DC circuits up to 480V three-phase.
- Interpret schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Prepare setups for customer witness testing.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team in an engineer-to-order environment.
- Troubleshoot larger-scale systems as needed.
Qualifications
- Electromechanical Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
- Certifications in Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, or Six Sigma are an advantage.
- Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing.
- Familiarity with corrective action programs.
- Product or industry-specific experience is preferred.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and databases.
- Knowledge of quality assurance tools, concepts, and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting, particularly point-to-point testing.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
