Job description
AMERICAN BACKFLOW AND FIRE PREVENTION is a growing life safety company in IL. We are the true one stop shop for our customers. We are looking for highly trained Fire Alarm Specialist to work in our fast-growing fire sprinkler, fire alarm, fire pump, fire suppression and backflow divisions.

We are looking for Fire Alarm Inspectors with Full time positions available.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting fire alarm testing and inspections
- Documents all results in IPAD
- Ensure that all systems are operating properly upon leaving
- Report problems or deficiencies resulting from the inspection
- Complete reports and paperwork associated with the inspection
- Train and work with apprentices
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience
- NICET certification (I or II) strongly preferred, but not required
- Good communication skills
- Strong Safety awareness
- Fire alarm experience
- Ability to identify issues found during testing
- PERC Card
