What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at American Coffee Services?
Locally owned coffee distribution company in Cleveland Ohio looking for a route delivery driver to service the Greater Cleveland area. Monday through Friday, 8am-3:30pm. No nights, no weekends. This is a full-time position with benefits. Weekly pay, no weeks held. Responsibilities and qualifications are listed below.
Delivery Driver responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods.
- Pack and load products onto trucks according to company specifications. Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
- Unload goods as per client specifications.
- Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs. Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer.
- Record payments received on invoices.
- Be alert to COD terms and customers’ that require payment on delivery.
- Call Accounts Receivables with any COD payment issues.
- Put returned product and completed paperwork in the proper place.
- Take all payments to Accounts Receivable office.
Qualifications:
- Valid and clean driving record
· Strong customer service skills
- Minimum 1 year experience as Delivery Driver and have knowledge of Downtown Cleveland.
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs. packages.
- Able to use hand dollies with 250 lbs. load up and down flights of stairs.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
