Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires hands-on experience with various tools and equipment, as well as a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. The Electrician will work on construction sites, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Use voltmeters and other testing devices to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes on construction sites
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently
- Perform frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician in construction or related fields
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and NEC standards
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Familiarity with using voltmeters and other electrical testing equipment
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Experience with frame carpentry is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
